Event Policy

  • A signed contract and date hold deposit in the amount of half of the venue rental must be received to reserve your date and time of your event.
  • The balance of your venue rental must be received at least ninety (90) days prior to your event.
  • A damage deposit of $1,000 must be paid sixty (60) days prior to event which will be refunded within ten (10) days after your event provided no damages to the property.
  • Clevedale is a non-smoking/tobacco free facility and violators will incur a cash fine of $250 (including cigarettes, cigars, smokeless tobacco, and vapes).
  • Alcohol allowed with County Alcoholic Beverage Permit, Licensed and Bonded Bartender, and Trained Security Professional. Proof of license, bond, and insurance must be submitted for Clevedale records.
  • No decorations can be affixed to the walls, floors or ceilings with nails, staples, tape or anything which may damage walls, floors or ceilings. County fire codes and for the safety of guests, signage and decorations cannot block entrances or exits.
  • All music is contained to your rented venue and strict observance of the Spartanburg County Noise Ordinance. We reserve the right to regulate volume after 9:00PM, the time in which the Spartanburg County Noise Ordinance goes into affect (56 decibels per ordinance). Clevedale is surrounded by family neighborhoods. All events must end by 11:00 pm including cleanup.
  • Clevedale has limited parking therefore a parking service must be hired to manage events with more than thirty (30) vehicles.
  • We do not restrict the use of any caterer, however, we require a site visit and meeting to outline catering guidelines.
